Villain is a regular of full ring games. He don’t play HU regularly but often starts new tables. He opens 100% range with 2.5BB size and he is very passive postflop. His 3b – 35%, fold to 3b – 63%, AFq – 18 (25/14/11). What range will you open and what range will you defend after his 3b? What range will you 3b? What range will you call?

Good questions bud, I would open 75% of my internal range and roughly 50% of my external range, you really don't want to dip too fair into the external range, because that can definitely get you in trouble. Stuff like Q2/J2/K3/Q3 etc, looks pretty at first but when he be check/poppin the flop its just too hard to know what to do.

As for defending his 3bets, I would just defend with literally anything suited, anything connected T9o, 89o stuff like that. Cus I mean if this kid be trying to step up to the king and think he is going to out play me OOP, he better keep his day job. I'm in position and **** this kid. Just start poppin him on the flop, these clowns have no idea how to respond to that.

All in all just study up and just value bet your nut hands, and bluff catch with your near nut air, this kid will run like a girl in no time.
