i would bet bigger on the flop and check turn back, your WA/WB and turn changes nothing.

If he bets river, i call
If he checks, valuebet.

You cant get 3 streets of value from a smaller pair (unless hes a calling station)

I would rule out kings because he probably would have re-raised you preflop.

It's hard to make a judgement call here because I think the decision rests on your opponents overall game - something only you could have known. Do you believe him? Or is he someone that you wouldn't be surprised seeing garbage from?

I have seen some opponents shove Jacks, Tens, etc. almost in a scared kind of way, because they're out of position and don't really know what to do. Most of those players would probably be putting you on A,K and as long as they don't see an ace or king on board they think their hand is best. But once you bet turn, they kinda get scared of a bigger pot evolving and just go with their hand without really thinking it through.. because they don't want to fold. Did it feel like this at all?

If I'm against a tricky player I bet the flop and check the turn, and most likely call if villian bets the river. If he doesn't, I bet river.

Or

I check the flop and bet most turns. But only if my opponent is tricky. And the reason for this is because I most likely have the best hand but it's not one that I'm really happy about getting all my money in with. Against certain opponents this is the time where it holds true that with aces, you'll most likely be winning a small pot or losing a big one.

Yeah my plan for turn was to bet half pot and if he called get it on river and fold if he shoves. I really feel like villian had JJ,AQ and cant see anything else really he hadnt got too out of line he had been aggro pre flop 3b alot and also he was much more aggro on flops usually thats why when i see him c/c c/shove turn i thought he had me my gut said fold but when he shoves i only need to be right 25% of the time getting 3:1
