villain is 17/16, aggression 6.33 and 3bet% 9 over 390 hands. hadnt been playing too many pots with him but i had a gut feeling he was just restealing me. i had been running quite laggy and had 3betted a couple of times. well, he calls my 4bet and now i have a decision with top pair in a 4bet pot. 1. am i ever folding this? 2. whats my move?

Now that you've gotten yourself into this extremely fun spot you need to check and hope he shoves with worse.

You do realize that you when you 4b bluff with Ax that you arent meant to go stacking off with it postflop??

if you read him as restealing you then your A9 is good and you need to shove this flop

it depends on the read. OP made a read that villain was restealing him. villain is very aggressive, so there are a lot of non A hands in his range. I don't like 4bet bluffing at micro limits. People generally are on level one (playing their cards, not thinking about restealing)

why are we 4b bluffing someone who can 5b us light or peel our 4b and make moves post flop?
