I played the hand poorly (end of a long session and I was tilting a little after a gutshot sucked out on me) and I want to check my rethinking of the situation.
Villain is a passive player typical of these tables so he obviously has at least a decent hand and is almost certainly not squeezing here (I would say the normal JJ+/AK). I have a hard time with QQ after getting 3bet when I'm in early and e-m position because I never know whether to 4bet or just flat it out of position. I don't think getting it in is any good against most opponents. Any advice on that?
As played, I don't think his call of my 4bet narrows his range at all. I've seen a lot of people just call here with aces trying to trap the 4bettor.
The check on the flop does nothing either. KK+ and AK have me beaten and I'm getting no value from JJ (or TT if he played it like that) unless he cant let go of big pairs for some reason so this is a no win situation. Basically, when I revisit this it looks like a c/f all the way down. Am I right or do I need to bet the flop?
