Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 87/64/5.29

I kind of blew up on this hand. Can someone maybe look at my flaws or was I just unlucky?

Poker Stars $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2750584

BTN: $2.68 = HERO
SB: $6.73
BB: $2.15
UTG: $3.55
MP: $6.22
CO: $2.00

Pre Flop: ($0.03)
UTG calls $0.02, MP raises to $0.09, 1 fold, BTN raises to $0.28 with AKo, SB calls $0.27, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.26, MP calls $0.19
So, I had stats on this guy (see above) and he could literally have anything. Any comments on my raise size? Maybe should have made it 4x?

Flop: ($1.14) 3 ♠ 9 ♥T♦ (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, BTN checks
So on this flop I checked because I thought that they could easily have a set here or xT kind of hand. I wanted to keep the pot small because it was big enough already.

Turn: ($1.14) K ♣(4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP bets $0.57, BTN calls $0.57, SB calls $0.57, UTG folds
Right so MP bets out half pot. He is super loose. High AF. I didn't believe him and I just hit TPTK so I wasn't folding

River: ($2.85) 7♥ (3 players)
SB checks, MP bets $2.85, BTN calls $1.83 all in, SB folds
I think I should have folded here. I do want to point out that my biggest leak right now is being "greedy" on the river. I call WAY too many times. Have you guys got tips how to prevent that from happing?

right so now that I look at it again. Why did I check on the flop because I was afraid of sets. But then call on the turn? It looks like I fall in love with my hand as soon as I have TPTK

I think it's ok to check flop here, if you cbet in a 4way 3b pot with just A high will just make you lose more money.
I'm not sure you made that bad of a play in this hand, he checked flop, so a set is less likely, and he started being aggressive when he saw the K on the turn. Against a player with those stats, I would snap call river as he has more Kx hands than sets here.

Overall, I think it's ok the way you played.

easy flopcheck.

fold river he wont have enough bluffcombos here cause there are no draws that couldve started bluffing on the turn. he should not have worse kx enough, but if he could be a weaker player or sth u have to call.

Ew that's gross. Hard to know where you are as people will call a 3! with junk at 2NL. Smells a lot like V has K9...

Fistpump call river. Villain is an aggrofish, tptk very likely good here.

I dont know, yeah seems like a "fistpump call spot cause villains are ******s and play worst hands etc" but ive played enough 2NL myself and whenever these kind on spots come up,i rarely win at showdown if i decide to call.

A set is NOT unlikely as most villains at micros usually check to the PF raiser(especially if he puts you on a big pair),even in multiway pots, and 99-TT makes PERFECT sense for MP as these hands are hands that he might isolate a limper with but will also flat if somebody behind him 3bets afterwards.

Also, unless villain is a special kind of aggroturd or theres specific history involved,i dont see him like EVER having a bluff here,vs 3 opponents that one of them limp/called a big 3bet and another cold called.(so there likely fishy stations and likely to call down with crap).

Only hands we beat at this point are KQ and maybe KJs,and he might not always call KJ pre and if he does, will he always play it like this?
On the other hand,99/TT makes perfect sense,as does QJs,as does some crap like KTs/K9s..
Sometimes it might be a split cause it makes sense for him to play AK like that, but there are a few combos left and hoping for a chop isnt a great idea..

So,imo usually this is a river fold considering it was a 4way pot,and maybe sometimes a puke-call,considering the nice pot odds..

not calling vs that sizing. In my eyes villain is trying to make up for lost value on flop/turn which they think they deserve, thus the PSB.

Unless you've seen him bet pot without a good hand, I'd be folding here.

How many hands were these stats over?

I'd prob call TPTK based on AFq being high, if sample > 30ish hands. Less and I'd wonder if the stats were really valid due to sample size. His VPIP/PFR ratio looks reasonable is why I ask.
