I realized my turn bet was aweful. Should definitely bet more. What do you guys think I should do here? Throughout the hand I put him on overpair either KK or QQ or AK and definitely possibly Jx , I'm really lost there. Tanked for almost 60 seconds. Villian is unknown.

against unknown assume decent player until proven otherwise aka this is a fold on the river. And yea the turn bet was not optimal. Im putting him on a AJ/KJ/33/55/QQ (i dont think hed play KK like this but hes unknown). Hands against unknowns are really really awful to play. Even a 20 hand sample gives you some rough estimates of the kind of player your dealing with.

i actually like the turn bet hahah. it works pretty well as a blocking/value bet, but you could probably make it a bit more so 66-TT/QQ+ can call

i'd probably bet the river as opposed to checking. i'd make it pretty small though, sine any PP is not going to like that turn card

Raise more preflop, bet more on the flop and turn, lead river. This is against NL2 unknown(fish). And of course - fold to any raises on the river.

As played I call the river.

Pre is fine imo. Flop is ok, pretty dry board so no need to protect.

Turn is awful like you mentioned, make it at least $1. I like a c/c line on the river though. I'd think a J would raise the turn, and a hand like AK is pretty likely for villain with this line. Sucks if he has KK, but that's just a cooler.
