I see villian doing this a ton with AQ for the simple reason that if im villian i see you betting alot of hands when checked to on river, plus calling with some worse. THis compared to donking and trying to get you to call me light is better If im villian(obv flow and tempo history dependant).

sick hand. call. can't fold with only 1.1k left .. if you had a lot more then maybe you can fold. I think he has KK or KJ, i dont think he would bet the turn with KK or KJ cause he wouldn't want to get shoved on.. I don't really understand the check raise on the river the way you played the hand. Since you checked the turn he probably knows you don't have a straight so what does he think hes checkraising all in against? He can put you on air but he will most likely bet the river if hes bluffing or if he has aq, qx. It really looks like he has the nuts and thinks he will get more value on the river thinking you are good enough to make a thin value bet.
