5/$10 No Limit Holdem
players

Stacks:

Hero ($1090)
BB ($2770)

Pre-flop: ($15, 4 players) Hero is SB with 89
Hero bets $25, BB calls $20.

Flop: 8 5 5 ($60, 2 players)
Hero bets $40, BB calls $40.

Turn: 7 ($140, 2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $125, Hero raises to $333

Villain is good regular, he is 48/41 quite aggro but pretty decent and def winner at this limits.

If you plan to C/R, I raise around 450$ here and call a shove.

don't like it. I'd much rather C-C turn and C-C most river, C-RAI on a h/8

I'm not quite sure I understand 450/call. You have nothing, and so you are almost certainly an underdog to any hand that plays with you at this point even with straight/flush draw since there's only one card to come.

Betting 450 is a semi bluff to try to win the pot with nothing, and if he has 1 pair or a set of 5's or over card and shoves, you are snap-calling with pot odds.

So, given that you are bluffing but that you will also call a shove, why are you not shoving here?

What do you think about biggest part of his range here ?

good players are floating that flop a ton. i agree with giving him some more rope and c/c turn, c/c or c/r river depending if you hit.

w/o a specific reason it seems bad, you have the best hand against his range before the raise, but after the raise you don't.

Since the biggest part of his range here is likely floats then it seems like c/c, and c/c most rivers (assuming you don't improve) will extract max value as others have said.

I think if you are going to c/r I would be tempted to make it a tiny bit smaller (like $299), since presumably we want it to appear like he has as much FE as possible and maybe he'll do something stupid.
