PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (2 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($73.20)
Hero (Button) ($342.35)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8, 9
Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2

Flop: ($6) 5, 2, Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.50, SB calls $3.50

Turn: ($13) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ?

It's very early in the match and the two noteworthy things that happened were a c/r by him on a J62 2tone board and a 2,5x 4bet over my first PF 3bet within 8 hands.
How do you like a 2barrel here? I think his peeling range is very wide and he seems to be a kind of player that can fold a hand when facing too much action.

PS: Do you tend to 3bet hands like KT, QT, JT PF vs this player or do you lean more towards flatting?

I hate it, because it's not like the 3 is going to scare him away, if anything, he'll repeel Ahigh because of the gutter.

As for teh 3bet question, it depends, if he's 4bet happy, I'm def not 3betting those hands. If he folds to a lot of 3bets I might mix it up, if he calls a lot with a very wide range, then yes.

imo, you don't have enough information to be firing here. Something that would sway my opinion on firing here would be if we had some equity, but we don't, its garbage. So I just let this one go.
