Here is my thinking process for this hand:

Villains range for limp calling UTG and then calling flop is AA, AT,JT,T9, 98, A7s, 22-66 and various flush draws maybe 77,88 and QT....

That's a pretty long list. I guess because he's unknown, or would anyone apply a different range here?

When I barrel the turn under pairs aren't calling, T's and draws may or may not. So should I just give up here. If I bet the turn (which is I think is probably 50/50) do I need to be betting the river often to fold out his T's?

Yeah I think it's either 1 barrel or 3barrels here. Probably just going to cf the turn though vs an unknown who is likley to be a fish (limp/calling UTG). I dont think a fishy player will be betting his 7x hands very often vs you if you check.

Thanks for the reply Soulwaxical. Your thinking makes sense to me.

So does anyone disagree with a default assumption (vs unknown) of that villain will usually check back hands we beat when we cbet flop, check turn?

He'll definitely barrel any floats if there are any in his range, he'll probably barrel any draw as he'll definitely think he has a lot of FE now. But yeah, not many micro players turn there low/mid PPs into bluffs all that often and are probably more than happy to go to showdown.

Played completely fine imo. Don't agree with c/f turn vs unknowns at these stakes in this spot. Unknown or not, he limp, calls pre, so hes a fish. We now just need to know what type of fish. So I'm barreling scare turn cards all day long to see if he folds rag crap to a paint card. Plenty do, plenty don't, but there's only one way to find out.
