Another interesting hand, deep. Villain is 16/12 over 522 hands, 3bet 5%. I consider him a nit that makes some moves once in a while, but nothing special. Have I missed a street of value by not betting the turn? I'd normally bet for sure, but since we were deep, I got scared for some reason... I think I should bet, I probably have the best hand and I have the nut FD. I just don't know how would I respond to a c/r on the turn (if he'd c/r me OTF I think I'd just shove it,no matter how deep we are). Calling? The rest I think should be ok.

IMO he called the flop bet hoping youd give up and check the turn then he could steal the river.

If he had AK or AQ he would raise to defend against the flush draw, btw I would bet the turn to build a pot and gain a better read.

turn is an easy bet, especially deep, if you hit your NFD you want to be able to get as much value as possible. Idk what hes doing with his min 3b preflop pretty ******ed imo but hes probably doing this with a lot of suited Ax cause lol he has blockerz...also a 16/12 with a 5 % 3bet is hardly a nit, a 3b steal stat would be nice, i have one on my hud.

but yea bet turn for sure, rivers tough cause it looks like a pretty value ish bet, but still id feel comfortable throwing some worse aces in there that make this an easy call. Dont be too suprised when he shows up with A4

Yes, AK or AQ would have raised the flop almost certainly (although AK and AQ are less likely because two Aces are out). I understand your turn bet, but what if he raises (because it bricks) or shoves (with a set of queens for example(sevens are also possible)? Would he, if he had a set, c/r the turn? I think he'd lead, valuebetting immediately.
