I'm not a fan of calling this hand pre OOP. 3betting is better if you think he is raising a wide range.
And why would you donk two streets with midpair and a draw?

You have two options obviously: Check/calling or check/raising.

If he is a rather loose opener c-betting too much, this is a perfect spot for a checkraise. We have awesome equity even if he comes over the top. If he just flats your C/R, it's time to give up.

Check/calling is fine aswell. If he C-bets this flop, it's pretty clear he has a pretty strong hand meaning we don't have to worry too much about cards killing the action on the turn. Check/call unimproved turns.
