with so many in the hand, i think folding is probably the prudent option here...

wait, i'm sorry its two handed by the turn, but i don't like the board anyway

plus i haven't committed to the hand yet so i still like a fold here...

As played the Turn is a fold for me, re-raise to $1.10 pre though as min-raising is so meh and rarely gets a fold from the initial raiser in my experience.

Agreed with raising more pf.

I'm curious about the reasons for folding the turn, though. How many hands is an unknown UTG pfr supposed to have that contain either a 7 or a 2? Isn't it more likely that he either has an overpair and he's afraid we won't continue betting on a 4-straight board or he's making a float play with UI overs?

I'm not making an argument for a different line and I'm not sure what the best play is -- I'm just wondering how you guys are thinking about the hand and what pushes you toward folding.

Do you really expect UTG to be raising with a 2 or 7 here? I'd flat and shove the river regardless of what comes.

I'd feel like Aces are pretty bad for us, especially if UTG fires again on the river. I wouldn't be too happy about seeing a third either. If it goes down like that, do you still advocate getting all the chips in?

Does anyone favor a turn raise?

If more than half the Hero's stack _wasn't_ in at that point, I wouldn't if an ace came on the turn, but it didn't. But by calling that turn you are practically commiting yourself on the river because Hero would only have a ~pot sized bet left.

My logic is that UTG would be stupid to bet off a bit more than half his stack on the hope that he'll spike an ace. What strikes me as far more likely is UTG has an overpair of TT-QQ, with AA being a possibility. If UTG is raising preflop with sevens, deuces, or anything else that hit set or straight here, hero is beat.

If the club comes, BFD. He isn't betting a club draw here. If an ace comes and it hits him ala AK/AQ, I congratulate his expert play.

a fold is OK for me here. A check call flop then a bet river almost always mean you're facing a good hand.
