Hello,

This is a hand I think I played poorly and I felt so lost. I had pretty much no infos on both villains because I had just sat down at the table. UTG looked fishy and had played 8 out of 8 hands. CO looked like a decent player at the time (now after 46 hands I have him at 27/18, 3bet: 12, af: 1.1).

Thought process:

PRE: Considering UTG is fishy, that CO could have a big hand (or not), and that I'm closing the action, I called the 3bet because I could still be ahead. I thought I just needed to proceed cautiously.

FLOP: Donkbet from the fish doesn't mean anything, I'm probably still ahead, but I have no idea what CO's hand is - if I call he'll fold his unpaired nondrawy hands.

If he shoves, I guess I must be behind. Gaaah so much deadmoney left behind

I guess I have to ask why you are calling preflop? Did you do it to set mine your J's or were you ready to get it in when the board bricks?

A little bit of both. Because UTG seemed so fishy I think I had no problem getting it in against UTG, but I didn't think my hand was good enough to get it in against CO unimproved. I thought I was ahead only of his AK/AQ/KQ hands - which he would probably fold on the flop.
