Villain has been playing 62/31 and is rather aggressive. The turn c/r makes me think he made a flush. Ok fold here or am I a nit?

Tight fold IMO. That 3.55 bet seems fishy. I would say he was drawing to that flush with maybe A10 or K10.At these limits I wouldn't be folding top sets too often here unless the opponent is super tight.

If he had the flush on turn don't you think he would have bet more towards the size of pot? The only reason he doesn't is if you've been in some big pots and he thought you would make a bad call. His story doesn't make any sense to me.

Well I only bet a half pot on the turn, less than the flop, so I look kinda weak. That could explain the smaller than pot bet size.

Maybe I gave the check raise too much credit. But to me, it seems that the call, check-raise-donkbet line from weak aggressive players often means they hit their draw. I also have not seen any big river bets from this player so I don't think he is bluffing here too often. He river bet says he can beat a jack, which leaves possible hands to a set of 10s, flush, or two pair. And I think pocket 10s or two pair would have raised the flop.

You played with him a few hands already and should have noted his turn/river raise/large bets range, what he showdowns with etc. If he's the type that bets any river with his medium pair or a missed draw, this is a no-brainer call.

Turn should have been much bigger bet, $1.1 min, and after his raise you should have shoved. And surprise surprise, he will call you with K7o.

Sure, he could have a flush or a 98 for a straight. But he could also have about a hundred more rubbish hands you beat.

Wrong. His river bet says "I have a pretty hand" or "Look I have an A7o" or "I have two pairs nothing beats that".

    Also, you're not 100bb deep.

If you're going to call turn, you have to call river. I can maybe understand a river fold if a 4th diamond comes, but against a while I'm calling here all day. If he has a flush, good for him.

I follow a simple rule of not folding sets to fish.

As chips said, why would he raise so large ott when he hits a flush? His raise size is going to scare you off medium strengthed hands, I'd be more inclined to fold to a river shove or raise after he flats turn. Still won't fold though against a 62/31

Against a 62/31 fish this is never a fold. If we are beat so be it. You could bail on turn if you believe he does this with a flush, but once turn is called your in for the river....as the river changes nothing.
