-I don't know what to do with these types of middling off suited hands. It seems cold calling is generally a bad idea.
-I feel on a soft site like Bovada, it's okay to cold call a bit wider. We have position, often times a blind will come along.
-A trend I have noticed in other threads seems we should be 3betting the BTN most of the time. I think I saw two active members in another thread say with hands like JTs, we can often get villain to fold hands in their range that crush us like AJo KTs etc.. and when they do call we have position/initiative. I don't know if T9o fits into this category as well.
-I put this scenario into PokerSnowie and it says to fold preflop. Of course, the population on Bovada is a bit softer that PokerSnowie . Maybe it's still a fold regardless.

As played:
-We have a capped range and I feel this is a good board for our range.
-I decided to put in a raise and if villain calls, I'm barreling any club, 4, 5, 8 to put the pressure on them. Should we also be barreling a 9 or T here? It completes straights, but also gives our hand showdown value.

How would you play this flop? Any other insight is always welcome.

A mix of calling and 3-betting with T9s is fine, but with T9o it's a fold for me here. I'll open with it if it folds to me on the BTN though.

As played on the flop, ehhh we don't have any clubs blockers. We have some blockers for 98, 99, and TT, but feels like a mediocre spot. Would rather do this with the Tc to block the FD and have some more equity if we backdoor a flush.

I would fold these hands unless both myself and villain are 200bb or deeper AND he's either a really soft player or really big fish to where I know I have a good chance of full stacking him or is very easy to read and take pots from. 100bb deep just isn't deep enough to maneuver or justify calling off suit 9T.

Yeah, need to tighten up my preflop range. I've been putting a lot of these spots into PokerSnowie and PokerSnowie is having me fold the majority of the time.

Some Examples:
-QTs from UTG+1 vs UTG limper - prefers fold over iso. (It's close, may be okay isolation on Ignition as long as am confident CO/BTN will fold?)
-K2s from CO 2.5x open - prefers fold with a very small 3 bet percentage.
-JTo from CO vs UTG+1 limper - prefer fold instead of isolation
-A9o from BB vs CO open. Prefers a fold. Even wants to fold some percentage of AJo/AQo which I found surprising - I don't know if I could find a fold when playing, but still interesting.

Basically I have some leaks that need plugging!

-Yeah I'm dumb. AQo and AJo are call/3bet and are a 3bet about 70% of the time. Still getting used to the Preflop advice chart

You can 3bet here from time to time. But even that might be - EV {i dont have fancy solvers}. Calling i think would be terrible so raising this flopp dont seem bad. To barrel a 9 or T turn i dont understand at all. Also why barrel club.... Not the best spot to be in..buy heyy yolo poker should be fun at 10nl.

If you never cold call any offsuit hands you won't go far wrong.

Fortune favors the bold. I'm not trying to have fun when I play, but I do enjoy playing. If I was in villain shoes, I wouldn't be thrilled playing most hands facing a flop raise and a turn barrel on a 3 flush board out of position. Also, if he gets stubborn with a marginal pair we have 8, 9, Ts to potentially bail us out.

Yeah, after thinking about it I don't think barreling a 9 or T is ideal. My original thought was to try and rep something strong like a straight (get him off overpairs, but he probably wouldn't fold), but checking seems good.
