Full Tilt - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 180 BB (VPIP: 26.57, PFR: 22.71, 3Bet Preflop: 12.33, Hands: 212)
Hero (SB): 190.8 BB
BB: 158 BB (VPIP: 62.50, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 24)
UTG: 112.4 BB (VPIP: 64.29, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 4.76, Hands: 59)
CO: 266.1 BB (VPIP: 41.67, PFR: 4.17, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 24)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A Q

fold, CO raises to 2.5 BB, BTN raises to 9 BB, Hero calls 8.5 BB, fold, CO calls 6.5 BB

Flop: (28 BB, 3 players) Q 8 4
Hero checks, CO bets 10 BB, BTN raises to 38 BB, Hero raises to 87 BB......

UTG is a huge monkey. BTN seem pretty competent. Aggro. Hasn't done anything stupid.

Pre: I know cold-calling 3bets OOP w/ AQs generally sucks, but here, idk. I should be well ahead of btn 3bet range, esp. in this iso spot. I likely have no 4bet value, and I'd like to keep monkey UTG in the hand.

Flop: I am usually not in the business to try to bluff out over pairs, but if there is ever a spot this is it. A x/3bet would look insanely strong, I can rep QQQ or 888 perfectly, I block BTN:s top sets, we're deep and BTN seems competent. And UTG might still call a flop raise w/ like KQ/QJ.
Calling, on the other hand will most likely keep the pot 3way with huge equity.

Calling seems like the best choice to keep UTG in. Seriously I'm kind of lost what to do here. If you weren't so deep shoving would be a no-brainer imo.

Yeah I like calling. Pre seems fine deep and keeping CO in.

Multiway, you're getting good odds to call (assuming fish comes into the hand). You don't want to price him out.

What would you do with QQ or 88?

Calling is the best way to keep the fish in. For this same reason you may anyway rep a monster on the turn.

Call. But with fish involved I'd say BTN is not being lighter than a QJ.

With at least 8 outs (diamonds) giving us a 3/1 shot pricing in both the CO and BTN is optimal. We are quite deep so i would resist shoving however i am at least calling.

TBH, I think you played it perfectly.

Yeah, sometimes button folds a hand like KQ which sucks but the fish's play, combined with us being OOP relative to the PFR, doesn't give you much option really.

In some scenarios he could put you on QQ & fold KK (some regs on this board would), but we're flipping vs that hand anyway. Just gotta raise/GII at this point

Thanks for input all. BTN tank-folded, which is likely good.

Dumb logic itt.
As they both folded you likely raised the best hand with the best re draw not wp, not wp at all
