Raise 4x in LP pre, okay with flatting 3b, but i'm prob folding there

When he bets this big, that's hardly ever a c-bet unless you've got him noted with huge c-bets OF

OT you're gonna prob C/C here anyway (if he did bet) and when the A peels and he bets 1/2 or 2/3 you're gonna fold

This looks like AJ+

i would raise 4x EP since youre oop and want to play your hands a little stronger. I dont mind flatting villain's 3bet here since its a minraise. You can always set mine 5-10% of effective stack but closer to 5% is best.

i would fold 99 to a 3bet pre though.

you dont have enough sample to use his 3bet stats against him so i would treat him like an unknown. if he was 10% 3b i would 4bet him here.

Like previous poster, i agree lookes like AJ+ probably 3betting with AK and since you checked he did his standard cbet and you called. he checked and hit the river.

If his cbets stats were high i would elected to c/r him here though.

Ranges first.

Someone raising the UTG has a strong, tight range. It is going to be no worse than QQ+, AK at 10nl. Fold to the raise from an unknown, you aren't getting odds oop.

Now if you know this villain, and have seen that he can lay down a big pair, you can call, planning to bluff him on the right type of board.

As played, fold river.

Hero is UTG and is not raising QQ+, CO 3b..

NL10 even the TAG's aren't really caring about their position with PP's b/c they are always looking to set mine.

RIF.

Hero is the UTG and raises. In the micros, people respect UTG raises, so they don't 3bet a UTG raise light. The range of someone who decides to 3bet a UTG is tight. In fact, the widest it is for an unknown with whom you have no history with is AA, KK, QQ and AK in my experience. Against this range, you're in bad shape. Since you are also oop, it is hard to get paid off to simply set mine. Therefore, your best strategy is to fold to his 3bet.

Given his range and how it was played by the river, Hero can't beat any hand that the villain has. Therefore, Hero shouldn't even call a small bet on the river and should fold.

Does that help?
