Info on villain?.... need some stats and stuff to know the best way to play this hand.

Readless and assuming he is an unknown, preflop sometimes I 3bet sometimes I just call. 3bet seems good as we have the BTN. However, the arguement for flatting the pfr is that if we 3bet villain he will continue with a MUCH stronger range in theory and therefore we need to proceed with much more caution. (In general I find 3bets should be reserved for when you have stats/reads on villains, for nits and for fish).

Flop check back is fine IMO, its a wet flop and more than likely hit an unknown villains range. When he donks into us on the turn, the options we have are to raise or flat call. I actually prefer a flat call the way the hand has played out, it lets us represent a wider range and we might be able to take the pot away from villain on the river in position if he checks to us.

We never get to the river as played out above but on that river I would most likely c/c a medium sized bet, it would give us a showdown and therefore a lot of information about how villain has played his hand and whether or not his range is as strong as 66-77 for instance, this is important because it means he checks back sets on wet flops in 3bet pots. That could become a very useful note in the future.

As played, when you raise the turn, which is also a viable option... and he 3bets us, we really have to consider whether we want to continue with just TPTK, which on a board like this, in a 3bet pot and against a villain who is assumed to be completely unknown... it doesnt seem like a good idea.

I don't like the flop check back especially with the handful of sexy turn cards for double barrel plus you have a blocker to a good chunk of heart combos. As played I'd prob smooth call the turn and a reasonable river bet assuming the same river card lands.

Cbet flop but everything depends on the villain and if u say he's an unknown then u should just flat pre imo.

I'm just always 3betting this against an unknown tbh I think not 3betting is absolutely terrible because its 5nl and assume everyones bad til proven otherwise.
Cbettings fine I don't hate checking back but you do still have pretty sick equity against jx anyway so cbettings better. As played call turn, call river.
Be aware that when you raise the turn here your hand looks exactly like what you have.
