sorry, did my best with converting a cake hh. i don't play with any stat programs and am more or less giving this hand the proper analyzing now, after looking through the logged histories. i may not have paid as much attention to the hands of note while in game.

villain seems to be competent and a decent player. did a lot of weird stuff like opening like 4.5x-5x the BB a few times. and seemed to get more aggressive after losing hands. and would complain in chat. did muck a few rivers where he couldnt beat top pair after leading flops and c/c turn and checking river.

saw him play a hand from the BB previously where he called, lead a TT2 rainbow flop, and called a raise. check called a turn 5 and checked and mucked 99 on a 2 river.

also limped into my BB checked behind on flop and folded to a small bet on a 849Tss board. he also raised in the CO, lead a A9Jcc board, 3-bet, and called a 4-bet shove with AQcc and lost to JJ. maybe he was tilted as he 3-bet and jammed a 669 flop a few hands later. then a few hands later he 3bets OTB with AKo and checks behind 3 streets on a 456cc3hAc river.

i raised in the same position previously and he called from the BB. he c/c a Q77 flop, checked to me on a J turn bringing 2 diamonds, and checked to me on a K river.

then he limped into my sb and i had 99. i raised and he called. i lead on a 445hh board and he 3x raised me then checked behind on an A turn and 3 river. and showed 78hh.

would he play 56 like this, even suited, or any other suited hand? A9s A10s AQs?? A3 with the A of spades? Q10s K10s spades?? J9 of another suit maybe. maybe he'd lead a non scare card turn into someone who he may view as passive or tight? surely he'd 3bet a JJ, QQ, KK, and even AK preflop, right?

i was taking a shot and was playing a bit cautious. he has seen me do the same with JJ on a similar flop 9 hi, call a lead bet on a non over turn and check behind on a non over river.

slowplayed KK or AA? (by not 3-betting pf)

do i 3-bet flop and what if i get 4-bet? do i jam over his turn bet? is this always a set?

any input appreciated.

Gotta call here. Not much beats you, but you beat a LOT. He could have air, he could have KJ/QJ/J10 thinking he's betting for value. He could have a missed draw.

Draws missed, the 3 reduces his set combos, it's almost impossible for him to have 2p and villain is a bad player given your description=snap call. With 100bb stacks shoving the turn might be better but this deep I don't mind calling turn+calling all non spade rivers.

i called after some deliberation and he showed 44 for the flopped set. and thus ended my shot at 400NL.

if i could go back i would do nothing different, ****ty spot i guess.
