NL 400 - general adjustments to make vs. villain who raises every button and c-bets every flop NL 400 - general adjustments to make vs. villain who raises every button and c-bets every flop

Villain raises every button and c-bets every single flop. He won't fold to donk bets (I tried). He double barrels 60% of the time.

I tried 3-betting him more but he folded just 37% of the time and folded to only about half of my c-bets in 3-bet pots.

He's also liable to ship it in fairly light in 3-bet pots.

A couple of illustrative hands:

What general adjustments should I be making vs. a villain like this? I found it difficult to play OOP against him. A couple of times I caught top or 2nd pair and check-called him for two streets, but most of the time when I bricked it was like I had no chance to win the pot. I tried check-raising but he just called or 3-bet me.

Just tighten up a bit and own him. Still 3bet pretty wide for value K10+ 77+more or less and be willing to ship kinda light. and hope he doesn't quit you. And don't run big bluffs.

Guys like this who just want to win every pot your best served by just playing pretty tight, dump marginal hands early when you're likely to get barrelled, sounds like he doesn't give c/r credit much so you really can't go wrong wplaying your made hands fast or as bluffcatchers, just whichever line leads to him putting the most money in with his air.

I would also try to keep my cbetting bluffing frequency in 3bet pots a lot lower against such a villain.
