Against a passive villain i would let the first hand go. He is unlikely to reraise a draw or top pair with medium kicker.

The maniac could have anything in the second hand. So i am prepared to go all the way with TPTK. Call the turn and c/c his bluff on river. And you are right, 3-betting pre would make it easier.

Hand 2: raise bigger on flop, shipping >>> call and c/c river imo.

Why do you think shipping is greater than calling. Look at this board texture. There arent any real draws that we are worried about. By shipping we just fold out all his air and only get his money when he has like QJ but by flatting and c/c river we get another bet out of him since we arent really afraid of many rivers.

Cause there's only ~12-13$ effective stack OTR and the pot is already 31$, I don't think he'll bet OTR here much with air cause we don't rep any draw either.
