hows my line here? villian is 11/9 over 50 hands, i jsut had a hand before him where i had 99 button and he 3bet me from the bb with jj, the flop was AQ8 10 4 and he checked to the river.

is this line good here or did i let him catch up?

IMO, either open raise the flop or re-raise his bet. I think check/calling is horrible here. Same thing on the turn, it needs to be raised. As played, the river card is a problem because now we have no idea where we are in the hand. I would probably call his raise, but be pissed at myself.

I really can't think of worse turn and rivers other than the K or Q of hearts. I'd c/r the flop because he's bad enough to stack off with TT/JJ/QQ/KK. River sucks because we're ahead of like nothing after he shoves I'm really tempted to fold except it's like slightly possible he has AK. Obviously I'm not b/f the river.

I totally agree with the comments, the call pf is ok, but you have to check the flop to raise if he bets. The call on the flop is an error on your part.

i always 5bet preflop here, people who min4bet generally dont do it with much they are willing to fold.

as played c/r flop

you should be getting your stack in waaay before the river here. either pf or on flop.

a flop c/r shove would be perfect imo.

wow butchered hand. I make my 3 bet bigger and I 5 bet preflop like 80 percent of the time. as played, no question must either b/3b or c/r flop. get the money in on that flop he shows you TT-KK 90 percent of the time. cry when the turn hits and puke on the river, pray for JJ

i dont know why your playing so passively here. If you just call his tiny 4 bet you should be c/r that flop pretty much all the time. If not that at least bomb the turn just get the money in somehow the earlier the better. His range is strong enough to have a ton of worse hands that stack off against you here. He should never be able to see a river in a 4 bet pot here without being all in beforehand.

Pretty easy shove preflop...he has to love his hand though I'm sure a small % of min4bettors would fold to a shove...

If you go for the trap then spring it on the flop ffs. it's a 4 bet pot no reason for FPS he's not going anywhere with an overpair

Gross, wanna puke.

Just play it straight forward no need to get so tricky. Don't know why you played it so passive against what seems to be a fairly tight player. He four bet you pre, he's got to like his hand at least a little. Deff 5 bet here pre. And there's no reason to check the flop unless your planning to c/r....

I say villain has KK,QQ maybe JJ and every once in a blue moon AKs.

You let him get there....
