Villain isn't a reg. He has 80% VPIP from big blind and 82% VPIP from the button. He raises 60% of buttons and limps the 22%.

He 3-bets pre 12.5% of the time, he c-bets 82% of flops, he 2nd barrels 47% of the time, he folds to c-bet 36% of the time, he 3-barrels 11% of the time.

What I'm worried most about though is in 3 prior pots for 100BB+ he has turned up with 2 pair+/the effective nuts and that this might be more than a coincidence, i.e. his gameplan could be to wait for the effective nuts and only fire that rare 3rd barrel when he has it.

Hand 1:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (2 handed) - Full-Tilt Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

Hero (BB) ($498.30)
SB ($251.80)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6, 7
SB bets $6, Hero calls $4

Flop: ($12) K, 8, 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $8, Hero raises to $22, SB calls $14

Turn: ($56) 6 (2 players)
[color=#CC3333]Hero bets ??

Rather than c/r air as a bluff, I turn my bottom pair into a bluff because I don't think it can get to showdown a lot with how wet the board is + I have 5 outs when I get called.

When I hit on the turn is bet-fold an OK line given my fears that he's waiting for the nuts in big pots? There's $224 behind. In this spot would it be fair to say my hand is effectively no stronger than pocket AK (i.e. beats and loses to practically the same ranges).

Hand 2:
Full Tilt Poker $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BB): $231.75
BTN/SB: $794.85

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with K K
BTN/SB calls $1, Hero raises to $10, BTN/SB calls $8

Flop: ($20.00) 2 8 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $18, BTN/SB raises to $36, [color=red]Hero ??

Seems to be damned if I do, damned if I don't. If I 3-bet I could be getting it in really bad, if I just call, he could outdraw me.

If I just call, what should my general plan be for most turns and rivers? I'm worried I can't get to showdown without calling it all off.

Hand 1 - I'd also bet a fairly substantial amount and call it off, without too much issue - there's loads he can have that will prob get it in that you beat.

Hand 2 - I'd probably call flop and check/ship non-club turns.
