PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com

BTN: 113.2 BB
Hero (SB): 127 BB
BB: 153.7 BB
UTG: 112.9 BB
CO: 193.5 BB 40 hands vpip 37/34/2

preflop and flop seems standerd Is it ok toalways check on these boards and bet small or large on flops with broadways?

ott would it better to check or bet bigger? because he checked the flop i assumed he had nothing so i decided to bet. How should i play the river?

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K A
fold, CO raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero raises to 10 BB, fold, CO calls 7 BB

Flop : (21 BB, 2 players) 2 8 3
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn : (21 BB, 2 players) 9
Hero bets 6.6 BB, CO calls 6.6 BB

River : (34.2 BB, 2 players) K
Hero bets 17 BB, fold

Hero wins 32.7 BB

Considering V stats I dont think you have enough fold equity OTT. Actually what are you trying to represent after youve checked the flop? I would probably just check turn again. But maybe this is a value bet eventhough you have just A-high.

Your sample size is too small, but I would also check F3B stat in order to determine his range in 3bet pot.

Why are you sizing small in 3b pots OOP still preflop? Flop is a bet.

As played river is a smaller bet

yeah not a fan of the flop check/turn bet combo.

As played agree with Selim that blocker bet is correct sizing as we are not representing much strength.

You mean why is he using a small 3bet size SB vs CO? What's the regular size these days?

4-5x is very much the standard.

<4x gets almost an instant fish reg label.

Hmm yeah I have noticed 4x+ OOP be a thing but when did that happen exactly?

I don’t think it’s ever been different. Generally tournaments where stacks are smaller(ICM aside),you 3b smaller and similar in cash but you are often 100bb effective so no need to go smaller. In fact the deeper you are the larger you want to go.

There is always exceptions vs very specific players. It’s better to learn stanadard and deviate as you see is higher EV.

Considering villain is playing 37/34 I would 3bet bigger preflop bigger for value. Hell you could prob bet the flop for value too if he's sticky. As played I prob just check turn though.

ur right lately i see alot of people 3b around 3.5 x but why bet flop doesnt he have range advantage? if i bet 1/3 otf and turn is a low card i check and check river?

and if its a broadway card i Cbet again but then 60%???

that river bet has to be bigger
he can't fold 9x
turn meh looks like high freq x but it can't be terrible to bet small

sometimes i would check the flop with overpairs because this board hit is range more right?or bet small.I didnt wanted to fold if he bets so tried to deny his eq ott.
