No reads, it was my second orbit at the table. Do you think it would have been better to lead or CR flop? Maybe lead turn? His CR was pretty quick on the turn. Should I shove here or lay it down?

thanks

i dont really like 87o at 5:1 vs. a minraise from a 3/4 stack. you have half the implied odds you would if it was 5:1 vs a limp in the sb, and you probly need about 7:1ish to make it worth the time unless you're a super ninja.

cring the flop is ok since there's a flush draw on board. situations like this show you why you need real good odds to play these hands oop. you made a real good hand, but when you raise its pretty obv what you probly have. c/c is not so good on that board though since there's a flush draw, and its low, so the guy could have like 99 type hands that slow down on bad turns. i probly just fold to the turn raise . i'm sure you're ahead there sometimes though.

check/raise to $1 (or $1,20) on the flop.

On the turn, usually it's a check/fold given that the flush hit but if he bet really small you can call for a fullhouse:

You can win with:

[J] x 3
[3] x 3
[7] x 3
[8] x 1

You are looking for 10 card to win, so approx prob is 10/49 = 20%

It's 5:1

You have implied odds so if he bet on the turn approx 1/4 of the pot when the flush hit you can still call imo.

bet the flop as u can make them fold, if they call re-evaluate the turn, if there is a high card or a flush proceed with caution!

Good luck playing!
