Sorry if this has been discussed here before, only found info on the FLHE side of things.

How do heads up regs feel about playing Neo for practice? Does anybody have an opinion about this bot's strategy/style?

Having played neo-bot there are better ways you can practice IMO.

It does get better and adapts to you after a play a few hundred hands. After playing it a bit I think there is some value there, if only to see how a bot plays. Fwiw it's playing style really changes after it has enough hands on you and does get tougher...

i played hunl vs neo for a bit (though it's more like a 100bb husng w/ no blind increase), and although it's not the easiest bot to beat, it still sucks imo. i played around a little bit with extreme strats to figure out what he does, and it seems weird at least. one notable example: when i played an always shove strat from both positions, neo called an openshove with KJo for 60bb, he called an openshove with A5s for 100bb, he minr/called a bb shove with J5o for 17bb etc. one could argue that neo adapted to my always shove strat, however i wonder why neo would still have a (considerably large) minr/folding range from the sb in that case.

For me it would 3.5x to start, but started to minraise sometimes after a few hundred hands of me minraising.

At first I was potting and shoving a lot of turns and rivers and he would fold fold fold, but then after a while started calling me down with pretty weak hands, jack high in one case.

He then started playing super aggressive and barrelling a lot of air. Definitely weird, but interesting.
