villain is 50/28 10.0 AG over 58 hands. I chose to just call the flop and turn because I thought it was fully possible for him to have A6, A3, 66, 33, or even 63s. Figured he woulda raised better aces. I was going to call pot sized bets on all three streets but then I hit 2p so obv. shipped it there lol.

Nah seems fine, you may miss a little value from TP type hands by calling flop but the extra value you gain from all his bluffs that continue on the turn / river should more than make up for it.

I partially agree with this but board texture is more important here, no? Take this flop, for instance: villain is far more likely to have an Ace, so with any pair other than an Ace I would fold to a pot-sized donk bet (from my experience a donk bet on the flop is very oftentimes followed by a turn and river bet regardless of board texture).

Honestly, if a fish donks the flop and it is a pot-sized bet I will generally just fold everything but TP+. The reverse-implied odds just seem awful in those situations and I really do not even consider board texture because its a fish so they could have literally anything. Is this too nitty?
