I figured I'd semi bluff, and at the time I thought it seemed like a pretty cool play. My thinking ran as follows:
-I can take this line with the very top of my range,
-He can only really 3bet with the nuts
-lots of hands in his barrelling range that have good equity against me have to fold (Qx, some 2 pair and pair/straight draw combos, even a set can't feel too happy about my raise)
-Bigger flush draws, which have me crushed, no longer have the correct odds to call
-Even if he is calling with 2 pair/combo draw/set combos I still have a bunch of outs.
I mean, villain had KT right? Was my play -EV or did I just hit the top of his range and get unlucky? Do you disagree with any of my reasoning?
Cheers guys
