Board:
FrozenSky (BB): $50
brnzwenipee (UTG): $26.45
ThinkTwice33 (UTG+1): $45.50
DONNYJ (CO): $17
HERO (Button): $86.65
Vasily (SB): $120.55

Dealt to HERO 2 3

Pre-flop:
(3 folds), HERO raises to $1.75, Vasily calls $1.50, (1 folds)

Flop: ($4) 8 K 3 (2 Players)
Vasily checks, HERO bets $2, Vasily calls $2

Turn: ($8) 4 (2 Players)
Vasily checks, HERO checks

River: ($8) 3 (2 Players)
Vasily bets $3.50, HERO raises to $9, Vasily calls $5.50

A couple of questions here. Should I bet raising on the River? Also, if so, is this raise too small? Should I have been scared by the diamond draw, or the fact that he might and trips too with a lower kicker? Thanks guys

Flop bet size is good, you don't need to bet more than this really to get him to fold his air.

I think you could raise a little larger on the river, like maybe to 12 or so, but not much more, our hand looks like a backdoor flush right now and we don't want to raise so big that villain actually gives us credit for it and folds a Kx type hand.

c bet bigger.

Any reads? Raising the river is pretty thin, i don't think much worse calls a raise.

I agree.

I think he'll more often than not have Kx here and raising too big is going to scare that off, however raising this river in itself looks super strong. I think I prefer <$10 as it looks more fishy and might get him to call more lightly than a proper or close to pot sized raise.
