Many rocks or short stacks... can this be profitable Many rocks or short stacks... can this be profitable

I've been working on building my bankroll up starting at 100 to about 350. Having solid success so far, but I have one question.

Should I stay in games loaded with rocks or short stacks, or just get out?
Is it profitable to stay in a game where half the players have a vp$ip under 18? Some may even have a short stack with a vp$ip under 10, just waiting to go all-in with their pocket pairs.

I guess this is question has multiple aspects, with some players playing very tight, some playing tight with short stacks, and others playing more aggressively with short stacks.

Thus far I have mostly left games that I have seen degenerate into a field of rocks. If I don't see at least a few lose players, I figure it's probably best to move on. Am I giving up potential profit by doing so, or am i smart to go where there's more money in play? Also, if I choose to play in a very tight game, besides trying to steal more and giving my opponent much more credit on his starting range, how else should I adjust?

Just get out. There's plenty of bad, looser players out there.

those games are definitely profitable, but its a grind.

why work hard for chips when you can move to another table where they will just give you a full stack for a lot less effort?

If they just let you run them over, stay and steal as many pots as you can.

If/when it seems they start playing back, just leave and go find fish.

Probably better to just go find fish anyways in the first place.

fish are easier to digest than rocks.

Nothing worse than sitting at a table full of nits constantly folding whilst you steal there 10c blinds every orbit. Plenty of tables to sit at and plenty of fish sitting at the. Go and take their money.

16/14 nits give away money too.

yea. I used to abuse ppls 3-bets with complete air. Usually at like 10NL- level if you flat their 3 bet. flop no ace or king. You c-bet usually will get a fold by the 14/14 players
