Hi All,

First of all, I'll use this post as my presentation and then it comes the question...

I'm 29 years old. I started playing poker a year ago and my basic strategy was acting as an ATM, to the point that I ended up self excluding me for 6 months. As all fishes out there, everytime I busted my bankroll I thought it was bad luck and deposited again to the point of reaching -$6k.

I just played for fun without even thinking on making money. I felt I was really good on donkaments (lol I was a bitch too on those games) but I had bad luck on cash games (-8 BB over 15k hands LOL).

I spent last 6 months reading all types of strategies on the different games but most of my research has been on NLH and BANKROLL MANAGEMENT! (I feel so stupid thinking on what I did previously. $300 is the perfect bankroll for playing NL100)

I've been playing for a week now 2h a day and I'm beggining to feel comfortable again playing poker. I'm grinding HU SNGs with an "initial" deposit of $250. I feel I have a huge edge against the players on the bottom limits (no higher than $5), which scares me a little bit at the same time, there's nothing worse than thinking you are good.

Now the questions:

How many games do you think is a good sample to understand how good I'm playing?
At this point I'm up $150 after 120 games so my current bankroll is about $400. My plan is to move up as soon as I reach $1000.

Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated. I still need to do a lot of things to improve my hourly rate (table selecting, adding more tables, etc.) But I'll go step by step.

I hope I can learn a lot from all of you.

You definitely don't need 1000$ to play 10s
400$ is good to move up already, if you lose a few buyins, you can always back down quickly to the 5s, but you'll see the skill difference is small.

hey almito =)
i wasnt sure who u were when u told me on ftp

op, just move up after u lose one game, and play again same stake if u win, your bk is solid

u wont have the game sample to know your exact winrate on the lower stakes, dont worrie about that, just keep improving and moving up

Thanks for all your suggestions. On FullTilt I martigale my hole BR after hitting My biggest heater. I made almost 10k in 2 days and I went down to 0 again with the same speed. + $2k deposits.

I'll add a recommendation here: Don't play if you are drunk. I still remember a 1k HU SNG bluffing a flush to a made flush on the river. I feel so donk for all those sessions.

Right now I'm on my PS account. I don't want to feel tempted for those ultra turbos on FT. I think PS has a better range of games and the AVG player on low limits are softer.

I've tried some shots on $10s but I still feel more comfortable the $5s. I think I'll grind a few more tonight.

I'll be sharing some nice hands to get your opinion on how to improve!

I love you all. I'm learning every day thanks to this huge community.
