Qx is calling the river too often, youre often winning at showdown I dont think you need to bet that much on the river, youre risking 3.1 to win 0.7 on this super wet board. Im betting smaller to get Tx,A2 maybe jj hands and others to fold maybe 1/2 pot

I would 4bet bigger 1,4$. Now villain can call with all suited connectors and small pocket pairs because he has position. As played I would cbet flop 1/3 of pot because you have gutshot and over cards.

Not sure about jamming the river when we have showndown value with A high and villain can bluff catch us pretty easily. In normal situation with bigger 4bet; with what villain would call and then check flop? Maybe JJ or AT-AQ? Do we really want bluff vs them? Maybe AT is folding, AJ we beat anyway and JJ and AQ will call us down. Now when we 4bet so small this might be ok..

Qx will sometimes bet the flop when checked to and will not always call the 4bet. Plus we have good blockers to the Q. Often winning at showdown is a bit unlikely I feel, sometimes we chop though and mostly we lose.

JJ never folding to 1/2 pot bet. Probably not 10x either AP. Gotta bet big to generate that fold equity.

Have a strange habit of running into AA 100% when I choose this option.

fair enough i still think the hand was fine ofc. Tho in the games I play I tend to believe smaller value bets more than pot sized bets otr lol

Fair fair

My value range still plays the same line/sizing for the most part. Like I will shove my AQ/AA/sets/flushes on the river, would never bet small. When I see people bet small in this spot I get a bit call happy as if they really had a value hand they would mostly just shove. (Unless they are block betting like KQ/JJ or something).

I started 4b jamming AK pre OOP, along with some amounts of JJ-AA depending on positions and players.
