When Black Friday first hit I tried out the live games for a bit and while I was able to make about 40$/hr at the 3-5 over a little more than 200 hours before I decided that grinding live just wasn't for me.

It was at this point I discovered there were still a couple of decent options open to U.S players online. Tried minted for a bit but that site got shady very quickly. After that I deposited a couple hundred on Americas Cardroom and have been grinding there for the past year. The games are still decent there but cashout restrictions prevent me from grinding as much as I used to.

It seems to me that the window has slowly been closing on U.S. players having any decent options online, so I have been thinking more and more about leaving. A few things that have held me back so far are my family, An issue I've had with a property manager on properties a couple of states away, and most of all my intense fear of flying =( I'm gonna get over this fear soon I hope.

Cool to know people are still thinking about me haha. What have you been up to since Black Friday Vinivici? Jimmy I know you have an awesome real job. Do you still get to the tables from time to time?

im doing vinivici things at small/midstakes. games are good. i did the live thing for a while and absolutely hated it, although i could see being live-MTT pro just because the 100k scores make it worth it/fun. im also doing a grad school program for kicks in the UK right now.

why not just drive to canada. you're like 80 percent of the way there

Sup man. I do get on the tables still but from time to time is a good way to put it. The big game at my local casino is now PLO so I don't play that much any more. Had a stint on lock and had an epic grind session at WSOP for about 10 days but other than that I don't play that much.
