Assign a range and have a plan. You should have known exactly what you would do if raised before you bet that turn.

check raise on the turn is such a strong line, i think u have to respect it against an unknown...

I probably check behind on the turn as you don't beat much anymore and reevaluate based on villain's actions on the river.

Fold. Baluga Theorem. One of teh worst cards in the deck. Completes the Flush and 2nd pair become trips.

Check turn/call river is pretty good way to own ourselves. I'm pretty sure that if we check turn and he fires a blank river, we're beaten (mainly because most players won't value-bet thin with Jx on this board OOP). However, if he does check a blank river, we can go for value and bet $8

I think betting the turn here is fine (we still get value from Jx and now he'll call with PPs that have a spade in them (a lot of the time). I'd bet just a bit bigger though (mainly because I don't want villain reading into the bet-size and I don't want to be in a weird spot where I'm asking myself "Crap, is he raising cuz my bet looks weak?" so I'd make it $7.50-$8 on the turn and fold.

8-9 on the turn and its a b/f. If he calls and the river is a non spade brick id bet something like 9-11 on the river.

Only 37 hands = another reason to bet the turn, imo.
