I'm not sure if it was a good idea calling that bets on the flop and turn and I'm also not sure if it was smart to bet on river. Although, if he would've had Ace, I don't think he would've checked the river.

3. Floating the flop is ok, calling weak-ass turn bet is fine, too. Check back river, we're only getting called by Ax and 7x.

I think you can go for some thin value on the river if your opponent is capable of calling with Qx.

You have to realize what you are accomplishing with this bet. It's not a bluff, because the only hands that beat us (for the most part) are 7x and Ax combos which he isn't folding. Therefore if you are betting you are doing it for value, and since you will be extracting value primarily from Qx hands, I would bet smaller to allow them to look you up with their Qx hands. Something in the realm of 10BB into 27BB would be a fine sizing imo
