UTG+1: $31.25
Hero (MP1): $26.85
MP2: $10.85

Pre Flop: Hero is MP1 with K K
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, 4 folds, BB calls $1, UTG+1 calls $1

Flop: ($4.10) 4 9 9 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $2.75, BB raises to $5.50, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls $2.75

Turn: ($15.10) 3 (2 players)
BB bets $2, Hero calls $2

River: ($19.10) 7 (2 players)
BB bets $15.55 all in, Hero pukes...

Villain is 22/0/2 after 25 Hands.

PF: Standard

Flop: I bet small not to chase small pairs away. When he minraises, i guess his range is something like "Any 9, any PP". I decide to let him hang himself in case he has a pair.

Turn: Easy call.

River: WTF ? I expected a small value bet or a check... Is this a bluff often enough ?

I probaly call river, though I am not excited about it. Flop action, should be way ahead of his range, Turn action, way ahead or way behind, River action, probably behind, but not enough to pass, though probably close.

Insta-call. I lik calling the turn to induce a a river push like this.

I like the way this hand was played. Now go ahead and call. You've got his range crushed.

Just reading this does make me sick - but I have a tough time not making this call (of course stacking people with my "good" hands is a leak). It looks a lot like 44 to me, but 9x could be in his range too - obviously you don't have too much history on villian... A lot of people will cold call PF in that spot w/ JJ and QQ here so I think TT-QQ could definitely play like this too. I probably make the call but I don't feel good about it.

i'm betting more on the flop most likely potting it. if you're wary of villain holding a 9 on you, raise him to either take the pot there or tighten your read on him.

turn and river action are all dependent on your flop play. you let the hand get away and lost control.

Call, cry when he turns over 777.

Pretty close I almost steamed when he showed the 97o.

Hope you took a note that he plays 97o OOP against a raiser PF and that he min raises good holdings on the flop (don't they all?)

Reload and move on, there's really nothing to be worried about here, you played it fine.

Wow, there was no way I could put him on a 9. It had to be a pocket pair, maybe even Aces if he shoved at the river. Then again, I tend to give a lot of players too much credit.

Just jam the turn most of the time. River is easy call.

I would bet more on the flop. One of the reasons he minraised you might have been because you bet smallish. But you didn't go away, so on turn he bets smallish, it could be that he's not too happy with his hand. You call again and he gets a feeling he's not shaking you off so his river bet might be out of desperation.

Or, he played it perfectly, got his money in.

River is a call anyway.

Yeah, that is the sad part. I think he puts me on A9, then shoves the river when he has me beat
