KK on paired flop.... KK on paired flop....

Villain was 27/8/1 37 hands

I get 2 callers at 6x, so I'm thinking AA/AK or broadways?

Re-Raise however made me wonder about a set...

Or am I totally off base here?

    I don't like the raise-size pre, I'm making it 20c max. I'm also c-betting bigger.

As played, I'm shoving over his min-raise.

I also don't like the sizing of your 3-bet pre-flop. 6x really polarizes your range, especially from EP.

I agree with ScoopMonkey, c-bet bigger on the flop and ship it over his min-raise.

Preflop is big but not terrible as at this level we often get callers who just like their own cards no matter what.

IF MP2 has AA he would probably reraise pre seeing as you have shown him you like your hand.

if he has 66/99 it's unlucky
    9x would likely be folded
so more likely is 10,10 / JJ / QQ

    I'd shove

    pre is perfectly fine
cb size is good, call flop take it from there

My thoughts are aggression {esp by a passive player} at 4NL=nuts.

Definitely not a set, not possible on that board bud.

pre is ok. i would cbet flop a little bit more to build bigger pot in which MP2 is going to stack off. as played i would call flop and leading turn. (btw sizing a little bit more on flop makes jamming turn much easier, thinking about UTG+1 is still in pot)

Think I might be suffering from "Monsters under the bed" syndrome here........

    Thanks for the advice guys!

    fold.

4-way pot, you're facing 9x a lot here, also since he min-raised he is very strong here, he is inviting the other players to join the party and get more with his crappy hand that got lucky OTF.

another way it would be to call and see what happens OTT, but on this specific flop i prefer folding OTF rather than calling and having to fold later.

also board has o FD, so his range is more unbalanced towards monsters than air.
his AF also was pretty low, making it a easier fold.

look at villains flop raise, if it's big, so keep calling unless he begins potting...

    ^awful

even tho in a normal 4-way pot im probably folding here, we made it 6x after an UTG limp, i dont see any 9x here unless is 9Ts and thats because it may be his "lucky hand", altough i do agree that a min-raise on this kind of board is pretty strong, if he wanted more players he would've called, theres 2 more ppl that havent act OTF, so why would he raise a 9 on this flop?

I think his range is more like TT JJ QQ and sometimes 9Ts/89s/66/99

Our equity against 9Ts/89s/66/99 is 10% but if we add 1 overpair increases to 66% (is between 44% and 66% depending on how many overpairs does he actually raise, but i believe if he raises TT here he also raises QQ), so is he willing to raise/stack off with an overpair in this board?

what you consider nuts here is AA, only hand that beats you and would raise the flop // as quads and FH would slowplay the s**t out of you.
given villain`s stats, a nut type hand for him here is TT,JJ,QQ and possibly 77,88.

If you call here, you are missing a ton of value because most of cards on turn will scare V and he is in position so he can just check it back.

Don`t ever listen to rapid with that advice, there`s no big raise, V is just clicking buttons to see where he`s at or overvaluing his hand.

Shove here all day at 4nl, AA is a cooler no need to worry about.
