Hi all, it's my first post here on 2+2

I just wanted to know what you guys (or girls) think of this hand

Hero (CO): KsKc VPIP23, PFR9, ST15 over 4k hands
Villain (BTN) VPIP11, PFR8,ST25,3Bet 12.5 over 40 hands

Hero raises to $0.20 preflop, villain raises to $0.90, hero calls
flop 3dJsTd, hero checks, villain bets $1.20, hero folds

I really think I made a mistake, I should've bet around pot size after flop, or maybe even re-raise preflop, but somehow I was thinking he had Aces or hit a set. would you go all-in in case villain re-raised all in after flop?

Hey, welcome to 2+2. For a start, try using a hand converter or else you might not find any replies to your questions.

About the hand, since its NL10, minraise preflop is really bad, you should bet 3-4x BB + 1 more BB for any limper. With that raise, you will get called with any hand and you will have no idea what does villain have. After his re-raise, you have to raise more. Dont be afraid to go all-in with KK pf.

Bet the flop. About 2/3 of the pot. Don't fold that flop, bet it. His 3bet is high and your game is very weak.

first and 4th post are really helpfull. thought this forum is for talking about strategies and not blaming people who just start with poker.
anyways, get a hand history converter and repost this here again. im pretty sure you will get serious advice then.

i dont understand you get 3b when you have Ks dont get it in pre, flop a over pair on a semi wet board and fold. ??? are you sure you have Ks?
