Checked flop because I thought it was a high chance BTN would bet there from previous hands I played, would have just called if he did. How should I have handled the flop better

Was on tilt and shoved in a fit of self pity, lost a hand on another table AA vs 79 suited preflop all in and a river flush. About ready to quit this game for good, lost 85% of my funds on my account in the last day to stuff like this.

On such a dry board, it is fine to check the flop, especially if you had a read that made you think button would bet.

I would have raised the turn more. No use pricing in a flush draw.

The fact is that you were never going to get the weaker king to fold. Tough luck he out drew you.

    -Raise a tad bigger pre
-cbet to get value from worse Kx( I expect KQ,AK to open raise most of the time),5x, 66-TT
    - don't stop betting.. if he calls your cbet with K9 then he has KT and probably K8 in his range.

Preflop : raise bigger like 0.60 to 0.80

Flop : I do not like your slow play in that spot vs 2 opponents when you are the pre flop raiser. You need to build the pot right now in my opinion. You will get value from PP. If called ok to check turn to induce bluffs or value from worse

Turn: You check the flop and mi raise the turn. You screaming you have a K. Your opponent can then play perfect vs you.

River: Shove is not good here. You get snap by better and a fold from most hands you beat.

Have to raise more pre. As played your really not ahead of any hand that stays in. Sucks I know but you just can't shove river. There will be so many more better spots than this.
