Why is it that you keep seeing these "bigger name" players keep running conveniently good? Selbst's match against Snipes was just super ******ed... I'm not commenting on her play as I don't know the conditions around any of the hands, but clearly Snipes played well and ran terribly. Really makes me wonder.

yea, agreed MLJ, but 'bigger name' players are like winning 1 tourney and owning at marketing yourself, alot of the FTP pros and stars too im sure are terrible at HU even if they are decent at MTTs

No doubt, and I don't blame them one bit for doing so, but I feel that this forum alone has super-star caliber players whose only difference between the Krantz's, CTS's, PAs, Phil Ivey's, is a heap of luck and running well. I mean, it does nothing to dwell on that fact and I love Brian Townsend's comments on owning up to your own results, but at the same time I have to call it as I see it, and what I see are a lot of bigger name pros that run like Jesus. To be fair I should maybe not have mentioned the players I mentioned, as the phenomena is much more related to tournament players than cash game players.

Also, floating KJo on T52r is fine depending on stacksizes (as in, I don't think this is terrible if we're <30BB and have a good understanding of villain's style, and it's certainly not bad >300BB, but prob. anywhere in between that it's rough).

Just put in my first 400HU session...2 tabled a reg and came out even despite him calling my 3bet with 66 and flopping a set vs my KK on 764 two tone board. I think I played pretty well and adjusted correctly...hopefully 2/4 will be my main game by mid July (not playing much at all the next two weeks due to work)

TourneyManager Question

I want to purchase the Tourney Manager but I want to know if its the ideal software out there for someone who plays HU SNGs only. I am not interested in seeing my hand analysis or stats, I am just interested in keeping track of my wins/losses, profis/losses, and so forth.

Finally, what is the best and fastest method in purchasing this program. I heard you can xfer $40.00 to an account thru PokerStars, but how long does it take them to forward me my information, and how do they know my information to contact me.

I know you said you're not interested in hand analysis but I would try pokertracker out anyway. It's a pretty solid program and if you ever do decide to care about stats and stuff or play cash games it'll be handy. Plus you can try it for like 2 months without buying it.
