I flopped quads twice last night and got paid full stacks both times somehow.

Guess the doomswitch is off!

This can be true on Stars sometimes actually. Still boggles my mind.

it will take you a very long time at NL25 to get the necessary br. give NL50 a shot, I've had a great time so far

Wow.

Kurt, I think it's because of my style of play. It also goes along with my years-long contention that the micros are tougher than the middle stakes. In the micros (<&=25NL), the there is no question there are more fish. However, there are also more sharks than people will give credit for. I think hand reading doesn't get real pure FOR ME until 100NL.

50NL is grey area, stuck in the time warp of playahs emerging from a winning 25NL experience where a loose/aggressive game plan often works. The warp comes in when these playahs use 50NL to tighten up and learn the TAG game they have read about.

100NL has two things going for it.... (1) the TAGs that move up continue as TAGs, maybe even tghter, making them easier to play against and (2) $1 is where all the new ballahs start. Deposit $600 and go play some $1 tables like in Vegas. However, what happens in Vegas SHOULD stay in Vegas for most of these ballahs as they haven;t a clue to this online game.

(The 200NL, the good TAGs that move up from 100NL start openning up again and become tougher competition)

IMHO

Digger

$10 into 16.75 on the turn as a float? I would think you do better with a larger amount (as I do most of the time) or better yet in this hand if you think villain has skillz,,,,, price yourself in properly. Or check behind.

You are extremely lucky that villain didn't make you pay on the turn.... I would have.

The hand before villain and I were heads up as well and I flopped a set and pushed him off whatever he had. I guess he thought I was making crazy moves.......thanks for the donation. LOL.

In fairness, he did have a pre-flop flush draw...

Didnt I mention Donk?

He plays 15/8/2 over 1000 hands and cbet 80+ and cbet 3bet pots 100%
He just so happen to have top set......

It was a float but I thought without the 2nd barrell (two flush out there)from him that his holding wasnt strong maybe kk-99 AK nervous as I play 10/8
So really wanted to fold out all pairs

Thanks.

I spent a lot of time at 50, and I do a lot of work on my game. I'm starting to think that I'm a finely tuned machine for beating 50 now, and my game doesn't work at any other levels. I'm around 8ptbb/100 over my last 50k hands at 50, but negative over 150k hands at 100.

I play best against opponents with tighter ranges. I do horribly against complete fish - I just don't know WTF they're thinking. 100 players just don't seem predictable to me. Yes, that's right, I can't handle the aggression. I guess. Meh.

Also, the Poker X Factor replayer doesn't work for me at work, so I can't view or respond to anyone who posts using it. Just FYI if I ignore you.

FTP sucks, I am negative on AA vs KK, which should not happen. I am also negative on KK vs AA, so it doesn't even reverse balance itself out. I also only hit sets 1/13 times. But I hit so many straights that it sort of makes up for the set thing.

You must qualify in June. It clears in July (only).

At least it doesn't hit MGR.

Wait... really? Are you sure it doesn't effect rakeback? I was sure that it would...

that was my plan, but really if I can't learn to adjust to NL50, then how can I expect to beat players that are not dead behind the eyes.

The July thing completely sucks for me. I thought we'd have more time.
