fold is weak, raise is more like a bluff, so call and see a flop IP. should be profitable

i hate calling 3bets, but hey everybody does that and seems to work.. mostly because it tilts me so bad.

so u shove any rag board and hope he doesnt have QQ+?

Call. When the rag board comes, if he bets out raise it, if he checks bet it. I don't shove right away because if he 3bet shoves then I know he likely has QQ+ and I'm out of there.

I don't like to call 3bet with JJ at all.
You need bigger hand to call 3bet than to make 3bet.
He can 3bet you with QQ+, you way behind those
He can 3bet you with AQ+, he plays it with you only if he hits his hand on flop.
As for me we can safely call 3bet only with AK or QQ, if villain doesn't get out of line.

Furthemore if we look at villain stats 15/12/5, it is pretty tight so we have little,if any, chance to have better hand than he on flop.

That's why I think it is fold preflop.

I think sviridenich has it.

Just fold. The squeeze shows a lot of strength and we are yet to see monkey 3betting from this villian over a small sample. Its a preety obvious squeeze spot but I don't think people are squeezing enough at 25NL for his range to be wider. This is AK,QQ+ so often.

I probably call here in position.

Folding seems just too weak here, especially since we have position. Its crazy to polarize his range to just AA, KK, or QQ. So many flops could come which are in your favour. Its a call here, and act accordingly on the flop. Bet a rag, and slow right down when A, K, or Q shows.

Call IP, i think folding is fine though against this rock

the thing about calling is that u win a small pot vs AK AQ and stuff and you lose a big pot vs QQ+

but everyone calls soo much to 3bets that i dont know if they are stupid or i am missing something...

I can see why people feel folding is weak but lets say his true 3bet stat is 5%. In the absence of a read I'm not sure what else we can do.

We are ~50% against a preflop range of 5% so its not like we are miles ahead of his range. When we win a pot it will generally be small ones. Either due to a float and turn bet or rasing the flop (both of which we can do with air). When we get to realise our SD value it will be a small pot as well - something like cbet and checked down on a scary board. If we get it in unless we hit a J we are in bad shape against his range and lose big pots.

I'm not saying fold because he always has the nuts. I'm saying fold because we will struggle to get value from worse hands postflop. If the flop comes under cards are we stacking off?
