iirc 2 has some nice features that 1 doesnt have like showing some guy's stats against you specifically and ****
01-08-2012 , 11:48 AM
I'm using 1 atm because 2 made my computer slow as hell
01-08-2012 , 11:52 AM
Just made switch to 2, couldn't run it on my old system because it's a resources hog.

Many more stats available, "Vs Hero" stats which are great vs regs who have a plan against your HUD numbers and won't adjust. Notecaddy, which I haven't used but is apparently very powerful. Ability to upload your database to the cloud and access it from anywhere.

Few nice features IMO.

But seriously - I've been messing around with it and wanted to know what you like/dislike about the new one. I have my own thoughts but I always like multiple viewpoints.

apparently they are stopping making updates to HEM1 which will be a problem when stars releases 'blitzpoker'.
01-08-2012 , 12:32 PM
just trying to get more money, wonder if the versions will ever end

They're not hustling anyone, whenever they do a major update to the software like introducing the new features they have, they want to get paid for them, and rightfully so.

whats that?
i got hem2, it looks horrible imo...hem1 looks a lot better. the simplicity of the hem1 was better aswell...know how you have to open stats....then click preflop/flop/turn/river...

If blitz means what I think it does you just made me even more depressed to be American, which I would have said was hard to do yesterday.
01-08-2012 , 01:34 PM
any of you ever played rummy online for money?
01-08-2012 , 01:49 PM

just wanted a quick check on this spot, didn't seem thread-worthy.

villain something like 50/35, fcbet 50%.
callcall or shove? does flop sizing weight range away from FDs?

he has ~$15 left after betting.

Anything he's calling with he's shoving river himself, plus he might spaz river sometimes, so I just call.
01-08-2012 , 02:30 PM
Easiest call ever. If we're oop i might shove.

Also well done to Chris Foy for ruining me Sunday afternoon football game over at 3-0
I pretty much stopped posting here when 2+2 changed their coaches policy from only listing those that were active good strategy posters to charging money for it and allowing anyone to be a listed coach. I may or may not be active on a certain other forum that may or may not be breaking 2+2 rules if I'd name it here directly in this context though

I would shove since he'll call with almost any PP, FD, and any flopped pair.

When you call behind, it's possible he wont bluff the river when he could've called the turn shove and even less likely he'll call with a busted FD.

If you call and a flush draw makes it, it could be an action killer for pairs and PPs as they have SD value and will check/fold as draws came in and our perceived range is weighed towards draws and pairs, and all of our pairs are checking back.

Just my thoughts on it.
