I donked about a bit at NL25 a few weeks back when i was taking a bit of a break from poker.

There were a few things i noticed and one of the main differences i noticed between NL25 and NL100 is that nearly everyone is raisng when they flop top pair. Top pair is defnatley seen as the nuts at NL25.

Nobody can fold an overpair no matter what has happened pre flop and nobody bluff raises the turn or river like ever.

If you are good at putting players on ranges then you can make some nice profit by making small value bets on the river and getting calls off 2nd and 3rd pair or even Ace high as curiosity gets the better of them.

Nobody is tripple barell bluffing you. A BE or winning player fires all 3 streets you better have a darn good hand if you want to see a showdown.

Not so much good players but slight winner and breakeven players bet on a scare card, they are not betting because it is a scare card they are betting because that card improved their hand.

Most decent regs play their hands face up multiway, nobody is ****ing with you or making moves multi way. Believe the story they are telling.

Forgot to mention that a lot of regs have serverly unbalanced ranges that you can take advantage of if you check positional stats or have them in you HUD.

i think the biggest issue that 25NL players have is the inability to correctly classify their hand strength

Can someone elaborate on this? Not too sure what it means..

If you steal with 50% of hands and bet 80% of flops, how often do you have a real hand?

Coinflips: Unbalanced c-bet range when stealing (ie, steal with 50% of hands, c-bet 80% of flops)
Exo: Btn/co/sb opens & you hold aq/aj/10's vs a 25-40% range ... vs guys who fold 80%+ in 3bet pots calling is going to be more +ev ...

^^^Funny intersection of two points between CF and Exo, imo.

I'll take a slightly different tack ... One leak I notice is the inability most 25'ers have to let someone barrel their weaker hands in many situations. If they think they are ahead of someone's range, most players are raising or will donk OOP and induce a fold. FWIW, I think many believe they are trying to maximize value when actually they are unsure they are ahead and are really raising for information. I am not talking about set vs. TPTK ... I'm talking about something like villain barreling air or a 2nd pair vs. TPGK or, my fave overpowering their opponent in BvB battles when they could have just called pre, fop & turn and made twice as much.

I think for many players it has been ingrained in them to be aggressive and never be "passive" that they cannot recognize good situations to station-up. Sometimes it is profitable to be passive with a purpose.

My main leak is just spewing all over the place. This last session I figured out I spewed in total of 154bbs in under 2k hands..

Definitely gotta work to spew less/not at all not sure how much you other regs spew on a daily/weekly/monthly basis?

+1 to Lusty's comment about regs not letting villains spew enough

Barely?

blah still not 100% sure what specifically is being talked about here. Cbet 80% of flops total, or after stealing?

Definitely dont cbet 80% of flops, unless you have a very tight opening range

11. depends on the pair and the board, a lot of them the main goal is to showdown
13. calling with hands like 22-66 otb is going to be profitable as long as the blinds are squeeze happy

Could you explain this a bit prease? Are you backraising those hands as bluffs? Calling the squeeze and just outplaying postflop with position? I much prefer 3betting those small pairs IP, personally.
