Psh.

I could make a twerp of myself by posting a number of hand histories and whatnot but there's not a great deal to show...HEY LOOKY ME MY KK RAN INTO AA AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN yadayadayada w/e.

Anyway.

I suppose having looked at a fair few of the inevitable series of being on the wrong side of these AA vs KK confrontations I've been a little unfortunate in the circumstances as a lot of the time I happen to be either 3-betting my opponents UTG, or having my own UTG 3-bet...in which case yeah I guess its gonna be super strong. Maybe I could find a fold if my opponents stats are nitty enough?

Kinda annoying, but in both the respective situations (assuming the pot is 2-way pre between UTG/BTN) - 1) I don't want to flat a 3-bet OOP. and 2) I really/surely can't CC an UTG 3x raise with KK on the BTN can I?

Perhaps this is short term variance and I don't intend to change my ABC style which is currently serving me perfectly well, but I'm not quite sure how to deal with these spots.

So if any experts would like to help that would be appreciated.

And please - for all you High-stakes ballers out there 3/4/5-betting light...try and remember the fairly basic standard of the micros.

seriously another "Y NOT FOLD KK??" thread? Fist pump 5bet shove / call 5bet shove with KK and don't even think of shedding tears if you happen to be against AA

You shouldn't be folding Ks pre flop ever, unless somehow you have an unbelievable read on your opponent. Shove, and if you run into As, just consider it bad variance

play AA fold everything else imo

if its the 1st hand on the table dont expect stacking off with JJ UTG vs a SB 3bettor to be profitable.

But after a few orbits and some dynamics on, regs stack off with AQ and pocket pairs (44 a few days ago, 88 yesterday, obviously i had AK everytime and lost the flips).

Your problem is that you want the game to be automatic and easy, and that is not the case, you gotta pay attention to what is happening on the tables.

ayyyyyyye I'll stick with what you guys say as well as my own instinct, which is to get it in every time.

...but I don't know...there are a lot of multi-tabling nits at 10nl and very, very few moves of 3-betting light.

I mean if you 3-bet a 15/12's UTG from the BTN and he 4-bets a 3-bet against his UTG...

...whilst playing 6 tables...

...meeeeehhhhhh can it reaaaaaally be anything else?

(typing weird to emphasize my doubt and questioning train of thought :P)

But seriously.

Ranges.

What are you putting people on?

If you have a 13/11 nit, what do you think he's going to have when he gets AIPF? 97o?

Against a guy like that, play it differently. Don't look at every player the same, and don't just go "oh look my cards are purdy.

please read the memorable strat threads and the new user's guide.
