First of all what do you know about him? Do he 3bet polarized/unpolarized? Whats his barreling tendencies?

Only couse you have equity to call it doesnt mean that your call will be EV+. You will find a lot of very marginal spots and overall in longrun lose a lot of money.

only if u can outplay him postflop,on turn and river, which I doubt you can considering your thread and the fact that you are at 16NL. With your logic, you would want him to fold anything you beat because he might outdraw you, happy man.
