So onto the actual hand. The hand above occurred an hour or so beforehand vs another semi-reg tag. I 3bet pre cos of shorty fish. Think I timed out on flop, cos I normally just bet there though I don't think checking is that bad. He snapped the turn, so I figure there's a decent chance he has overs+draw of some sort so when that river hits, I feel its a good spot to c/c, then he overshoves....

telling him to bet flop isnt all that useful considering he said it was an accident that he didnt bet.

And I think BB would be the villain in the first hand.

given the BB's first hand and the fact that with a 4 to str8 he shouldn't expect a overshove to get called very often; and at the same time even though any 5x is a str8 the more probable draws all missed. Also the overbet probably polarizes his range to not be 2pr or rivered sets as often.
