Don´t you guys think placing certain players in certain player categories, let you make mistakes?

I mean every player has some tendencies outside or their player category?

im glad you got a laugh.... i do tend to usually play pretty aggro against a lag.. but then again i tend to only play against bad lags though.

if those who be playing better than me says LP>LAG then i will try it next time i guess, see how it goes.

Loose would suggest that you station off against their aggression, which is correct given their high likelihood of bluffing and betting with marginal hands.

Additionally, playing passively you rarely attempt to bluff them (which would result in loose calls and rebluffs), and instead bet to value town them.

How do you guys adjust to the limp/minbettors? I noticed a couple of you just said that's a part of your strategy. What kind of things bother you when you do that?

I've taken to donking in limped pots against these guys, raising certain boards I think they didn't hit, etc.

Also, how do you deal with habitual donkbettors? I was playing a guy the other day who would double barrel like 2/3 of flops. I just never caught anything, even bottom pair, before I adjusted, so I just started limping the button and letting him spew.

I actually thought limping was a pretty weak way to play, but I'm starting to see it as a viable counter strategy, and general strategy as the blinds grow. I'm not sure I'm going to include it in my main game before the blinds get bigger, though.
