He put a disclaimer in his edit. He put "was" where he meant to put "wasn't", obviously.

NO, they complain if somebody donks half a stack to them and then leaves... wtf?!?! get a more realistic view on life and realize how lucky you are, imo.
This is nice to hear once in a while.

lol...you guys are all missing the point of my post. If he just sat me at one table and that happened, then I don't even think twice about it.

But I'm pretty sure when someone plays 50 hands with you on 1 table then sits at your other table you all except to be in it for the long haul. You have to admit its pretty weird for someone to sit your second table and then leave 10 hands later.

I don't see how this is weird. If after 50 hands I suddenly decide I do'nt wanna play anymore because I don't feel like it, then I'll instaquit, and I do it fairly often

any guidelines on how to play deep poker (300bb+) ? I am used to playing 100bb deep almost all the time, I can manage 200bb, but when it gets really deep i'm clueless.

If villain never folds to 3bet/4bet what kind of range should we 3bet/4bet preflop ?

Are checkraise bluffs even worth a try if villain doesn't cbet more than 65% ?

Should we pot control every top pair hand on the turn even if draws are out there ?

Should I play my draws more passively, even if I don't have showdown value ?

I just want to add I'm looking for a low-variance game since I'm not really bankrolled to take 300bb flips/beats

As a general guideline the power of position increases the deeper two players get. 300BB deep I'd probably be inclined to open somewhere between 95-100% of my buttons (where I would normally open around 80%) as I'd expect to be able to outplay my opponent more regularly as we got deeper. I'd be attempting to pot control my more midling top pair hands from both the small blind and the BB. From the SB I'd be more likely to check back flop and apply more back end pressure with tp going for two streets rather than three. I'd be increasing my aggression with my semi-bluff hands from the SB rather than decreasing it as your implied odds for hitting increase fairly significantly. Attempting to get people to fold tp is usually pretty bad, but your odds of success do increase when deep.

From the BB I would be significantly increasing the size of my three bets (probably by one and a half to two full BB from whatever they are normally) and be less likely to three bet as a bluff. I'd tighten my value three betting range as a general statement, but if my opponent never folds to three bets then you should be exploiting that like crazy anyway. From the BB I'd be more likely to c/c with tp rather than do something silly.

Comments from people better than me are always appreciated. It's important to keep in mind that, in poker, the real answer to any question is, "It depends."
